ESG Policy

In line with our identity as an investor, CDG Invest considers that taking into account environmental, social and governance issues in its investment policy contributes to the balanced and sustainable development of the economy and society. We are committed over the long term to acting on our own and through our subsidiaries and funds and with our partners to strengthen the investment dynamic in new sectors, creating a positive social, economic and environmental impact without compromising financial returns.

Responsible Investment Policy

Our responsible investment policy

The Responsible Investment Policy describes the approaches we use to select our investments. It also presents the committed ownership levers that our subsidiaries and funds use to improve the ESG practices of the companies in which they invest.

The RI Policy applies to CDG Invest as well as to all its subsidiaries and funds. The approach is adapted to the specificities of each entity and allows us to address issues adapted to each context. The implementation of our responsible investment strategies takes place at two key moments:

  • During the selection of files: to exclude or choose companies according to certain criteria;
  • In the monitoring and management of investments: to encourage companies to improve their practices regarding ESG issues that represent a significant risk to their financial performance.

Principle 3:

We will, to the extent possible, require the entities in which we invest to be transparent about ESG issues

Principle 4:

We encourage the adoption and implementation of the Principles in the investment sector.

Principle 5:

We will cooperate to improve the effectiveness of our implementation of the Principles.

Principle 6:

We will each report on our activities and progress in implementing the Principles.
