CDG Invest infrastructure is an investment fund management company in infrastructure. Its main mission is management of the Infra Maroc fund, an investment fund sponsored by theDeposit and Management dedicated to infrastructure financing in Morocco. The Fund invests in equity or quasi-equity, mainly in new projects (greenfield) oriented towards energy, urban and transport infrastructure. CDG Invest Infrastructures was approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in March 2013 as a management company for venture capital investment organizations (OPCR). CDG Invest Infrastructures has a related activity of infrastructure investment advice.

CDG Invest Infrastructures was approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in March 2013 as a management company of venture capital funds (OPCR).

Its main missions include infrastructure investment consulting as well as the management of the InfraMaroc fund, an investment fund sponsored by the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion dedicated to infrastructure financing in Morocco.

The fund invests in equity or quasi-equity, mainly in greenfield projects focused on energy, urban and transport infrastructure.

Strategy

InfraMaroc targets investments in infrastructure. The fund makes equity or quasi-equity investments in companies whose main activity includes the development, operation, construction and/or holding of infrastructure assets, with a preference for long-term holdings. It focuses on assets in the construction or development phase or existing assets with an additional development project, which meet the following intrinsic characteristics:

    • 1. Assets that are essential to the nation’s economy
    • 2. High entry barriers
    • 3. Long term asssets, generating a Predictable cash flows and growth potential
    • 4. Low correlation to other asset classes
