WHO WE ARE

CDG Invest is a private equity investor and fund manager, and the investment arm of the CDG Group. We take an active role in the major issues facing the Moroccan economy: diversifying production, regional development, establishing PPPs, growing entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

We work through two investment funds: Fipar-Holding, which invests in large companies and infrastructure projects, and Nama Holding, a fund dedicated to the “Morocco Global Trades”, and two investment companies: CDG Invest Growth, which targets promising mid-caps and invests in the Acamsa, Capmezzanine, Capmezzanine II and Capmezzanine III funds, and CDG Invest Infrastructures, which manages a specialist infrastructure investment fund called InfraMaroc. Our activities also include two programmes: 212 Founders, an investment and support programme for innovative start-ups with international ambitions in connection with Morocco and Africa, and Génération Entrepreneurs, a support and financing programme for the creation of companies with high growth potential in manufacturing and services.

With cutting-edge expertise and multi-team specialisation, CDG Invest also acts in several key business sectors such as manufacturing, agri-food, digital/online, renewable energy and regional PPPs, working with businesses of varying sizes from large and mid-tier companies to SMEs and start-ups

Our History

CDG Invest draws on more than 20 years of existence in the Moroccan private equity market. It operates all the CDG Group’s private equity funds and entities, which comprise the equity investment funds Fipar-Holding and the Global Trades Fund (Nama Holding) and the management companies CDG Invest Growth (formerly CDG Capital Private Equity) and CDG Invest Infrastructures (formerly CDG Capital Infrastructures).

CDG Invest was established in its current form in 2019 as part of the implementation of CDG’s 2022 strategic plan. It forms a key plank of the Group’s strategy, one of the major objectives of which is to promote entrepreneurship and scale up the Moroccan economy. In 2019, CDG Invest launched the 212 Founders programme, an investment and support programme for start-ups which aims to help create and grow start-ups with international ambitions in connection with Morocco and Africa.

In 2022, CDG Invest launched the “Generation Entrepreneurs” programme, a support and financing programme for the creation of companies with high growth potential in manufacturing and services.
