NAMA HOLDING STRATEGY

The Nama fund covers all manufacturing industries with the significant export potential, while also seeking market profitability. Nama’s investment strategy systematically integrates the search for economic added value by generating a positive demonstration effect and addressing the following issues in particular:

  • Increasing the added value of export content as well as the degree of integration into global production chains with the twin aim of densification and moving upmarket
  • Promoting the increased investment of Moroccan capital invested in production capacity, particularly in export-oriented industries, and the emergence of manufacturing powerhouses with a strong export focus
  • Beginning the “discovery process” for new sectors/business areas

In this context, to ensure that the fund operates in an efficient and concentrated way, Nama focuses on four priority sectors, namely the automotive industry, textiles and clothing, the agri-food industry and aerospace.
