Abengoa signs an 82 million euro desalination plant project in Agadir

The Moroccan National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) signed a public-private partnership contract on May 30 in Rabat with the Spanish Abengoa and Inframaroc to carry out the largest desalination plant project in the Morocco to Agadir. The plant will require an investment of 82 million euros and should produce 100,000 m³ of drinking water per day, using reverse osmosis membrane technology.
